Camping in the Milky Way

from 15.00

When you live in a house, sleeping in a tent sometimes feels a bit exposed...vulnerable. Afterall, you just have this thin piece of fabric from the weather and who-knows-what. Then you look at this reality: just a few miles of atmosphere, a rather ideal magnetic field, and the right kind of star, the right kind of distance from us are all that keep the hostility toward life that the cosmos presents at bay. Just this tiny sliver of the universe where we can live...for now. I'll enjoy my tent tonight. It's honest. Doesn't let me pretend I'm invulnerable to the universe. Cheers!
